Julia Hadji-Stylianou is a photographic artist based in Northamptonshire. She was
selected as one of the finalists in The Royal Photographic Society’s Member’s Biennial
Exhibition in 2015, which toured the UK. In March 2019, she was an exhibitor in

Rome Festival.

She will discuss how she explores the connections between identity, the mind and
place in some of her works.

She completed a foundation Degree in Art and Design at De Montfort University in
2009, which led her to continue to pursue her passion in the arts and photography.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography and Video in 2012, followed
by a Master’s Degree in Photography in 2014. Whilst continuing to build on her
photographic practice, she has worked as a commercial photographer and retoucher
in the retail industry for 7 years now. She also works as a sessional lecturer at De
Montfort University, teaching Photography and Video for Fashion.
