The First Campaign

Starting 24th July 2021

Time to buckle up your adventuring boots and get your party on…

At Leicester Gallery we are incredibly excited to be hosting 6 sessions of the wildly popular Dungeons and Dragons role playing game for children aged 11 to 14.
This is an opportunity for children new to the hobby to begin their adventures, and children whom already know how to wield a great axe or cast a magic missile to immerse themselves in a new adventure. The sessions will be led by Dungeon Master Charlotte and will progress over six weeks starting on Saturday 24th July. There will six weeks of adventures filled with monsters and magic that may feel oddly familiar to those from the ancient city of Leicester.
The sessions will run from 2pm to 4pm and are free to attend. There will be a subsequent art activities workshop from 4pm to 5pm reflecting the themes of the session. There may even be some Dungeons and Dragons goody bags and treats at some of the sessions!
Table top roleplay games, of which Dungeons and Dragons is the best known are systems for shared storytelling across party of players that can build collaborative and verbal skills amongst participants.
This adventure has been made possible through Heritage Lottery Funding granted by The Y through their Kick the Dust program.
Sessions run from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday afternoons throughout the summer holidays.
